Our 5 Favorite Marketing Tools

article header

Did you know on average, small businesses in the United States and the UK use anywhere from 8 to 9 different marketing tools. Research conducted by The Rocket Science Group suggests that the more a brand has been impacted by the 2020 pandemic, the more marketing channels it will use to market its business and sell its products.

Here's a list of our favorite marketing tools, and they're all relatively low budget options, which is a big plus.
"Instagram"

By now, it should go without saying that social media should be one of your main marketing tools. With a third of the world online and on social media, it's the way to cast your largest net. If you have a post on your IG profile that is performing well, boost it with an IG promotion. You can select your target demographic based on your understanding of your analytics, or allow IG to pick for you.

"MailChimp"

MailChimp allows you to engage your audience with high quality emails amongst other services. Mailchimp has an easy‑to‑use email builder that makes it easy to brand your emails. The tool helps you to learn more about your audience so you can further build your brand.
"Facebook"

Create a Facebook Page for your business and "Post as frequently as you can … at a minimum, once per day," said Katie Campbell, social media manager at Fundera. "Your audience and customers want to feel like they know your business and can relate to you.". Use Facebook's Insights to get a feel for how your different types of posts are performing. Use Facebook Ads to boost your better performing posts.
"GoDaddy"

We say GoDaddy because it's our host of choice, but there are so many options to host your site. The key is to use a tool that allows you to get your website on the web. Link your site to all your business social profiles, and use it to share additional information on campaigns you've created via email and/or social media.
"Google"

Specifically, Google Analytics & SEO Manager. Getting your SEO in tip top shape will help your site show up at a better rank in Google Search results. Better SEO could lead to your business appearing on the first page of search engine results. Also be sure to create a Google My Business profile.
