Most people don't have just one tab opened while browsing the internet, so having a favicon will help with brand recognition and helping your audience easily find what tab your site is in.

A clean domain name is the last step of this article. You want to have a strongly branded URL for your site. All great website builders will allow you to use a custom domain to display your site. Look at the two example images above. Having a clean domain, like the first image, will make your site easier to find in search results, and simply looks much better branded.
