Choose Your Fonts

Fonts are part of how your business feels. A font can make your brand feel modern, soft, playful, bold, elegant, creative, or professional.
You do not need many fonts. In most cases, two fonts are enough: one for headings and one for body text.
The most important thing is readability. If people cannot easily read your words, the font is not helping your business.
Choose your brand feeling
Decide how your fonts should feel.
Write down a few words like modern, friendly, elegant, bold, simple, creative, luxury, playful, clean, or classic.
Pick a heading font
Choose a font for titles and big text.
Your heading font can have more personality. It might be bold, soft, stylish, or clean. Make sure it is still easy to read.
Pick a body font
Choose a font for regular reading.
Your body font should be clear and simple. It will be used for paragraphs, descriptions, emails, and website copy.
Avoid using too many fonts
Keep your font system simple.
Too many fonts can make your business look messy. Start with one or two fonts and use them consistently.
Test the fonts together
See how they look in a real example.
Write your business name, a headline, and a short paragraph using your fonts. Check if they look good together.
Check mobile readability
Make sure the fonts look good on a phone.
Many people will see your brand on a small screen. Make sure your fonts are readable at small sizes.
Save your font choices
Keep the names and links somewhere safe.
Add your font names to your brand folder or brand kit so you can reuse them.
Example text:
“My heading font feels bold and modern. My body font is simple and easy to read.”
