Check Your Website on Your Phone

article header

Most people will probably visit your website from their phone. That means your site needs to be easy to read, easy to tap, and quick to understand on a small screen.

You do not need to make everything perfect. Start by checking the basics.
Open your website on your phone

Look at your site the way visitors will see it.

Open the website link on your phone. Do not just check it on your laptop.
Check if the text is readable

Make sure people can read without zooming in.

Look at headlines, paragraphs, buttons, and menus. If anything feels too small or crowded, note it.
Tap every button

Make sure the main actions work.

Click buttons, links, forms, menus, and social icons. Make sure they go to the right place.
Check your images

Make sure visuals load and fit well.

Look for blurry images, cut-off images, stretched photos, or anything that takes too long to load.
Ask someone else to test it

Get a fresh set of eyes.

Send the link to someone and ask them what they think the business does and what they would click first.
